DC Area Classes
A.L.I.America (Arabic Language Institute of America) offers Arabic language classes for adults. Classes are held in the Washington, DC, area in 14-week semesters (3 times a year).
The Spring Semester 2010 (Jan. 25th – May 2nd) will be held at the following location:
McLean Islamic Community Center
1340 Old Chain Bridge Rd
McLean, VA 22101
Please note that only Levels 101, 102, and 201 are available for the Spring Semester 2010. Other Levels will become available as we move through the semesters this year.
The learning track that the Institute offers is as follows:
Level 101: Absolute Beginners (*available now*)
Level 102: Beginners II (*available now*)
Level 201: Intermediate 1 (*available now*)
Level 202: Intermediate 2 (*available next semester – May 2010*)
Level 301: Intermediate 3
Level 302: Intermediate 4
Level 401: Quranic Commentary and Grammar (Advanced)
Level 402: Hadith Commentary and Grammar (Advanced)
* All levels are 14 weeks. Class is held either twice a week for 1.5 hours, or once a week for 3 hours (with breaks).
